Video: Boehner's speech at the National Religious Broadcasters' annual convention "Let us Pray." Labels:

I haven't had a prospect to heed to it all the way through yet but the possibility of the language is excellent and so is the closing. I missed some parts in between as I was working.

As a Christian Values Voter concerned for the Values of our state it is so dear to get a Speaker of the House like a John Boehner.

May God Bless Us with more leaders like our Speaker. All I can do is joy and Praise God for such a Speaker and proceed to beg for the leadership of our country!!!

President Reagan once said at a prayerbreakfast in Dallas: "America needs God more than God needs America, If weever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a Nation goneunder."

And to reason with Reagan as he quotes Lincoln from thepast in our nation's crisis of the Civil War in the 1800's and during thecurrent economic crisis that Reagan faced in the 80's: "Abraham Lincoln oncesaid, "I would be the most foolish person on this footstool earth if I believedfor one minute that I could do the duties assigned to me without thehelp of one who is wiser than all." I acknowledge that in the years to arrive andthe years before there are leaving to be many times when there will just be one setof footprints in my life. If I did not think that, I could not front the daysahead."-1981 National Day of Prayer Breakfast. Reagan was referring to that famous poem about the footprints in the sand.
