Tonic.Ideas and Thoughts That May Keep Your Life: Rally Marathon .

I'm a sullen person which I generally try to support under wraps. In any case, if I haven't contributed to this blog in a piece it is because I have been one of the following: moody, busy working, busy doing fun stuff, or sick. Tonight I am breaking all the rules because I am sick, yet still writing an entry. By the way, this is the 3rd sentence I have been miserably sick in as many months. Why am I so unhealthy?

Lack of work and intelligent eating? Probably. Although, I started eating better starting last Thursday so I trust I find from this death cold faster than the final time. This past weekend was really busy. I took Design Girl for a night on the town Friday. It was her belated birthday because she is a design girl and she frequently works late into the night.into the following day.and so I don't see her for weeks or longer. Anywho.it was fun. There were a lot of tourists at the bar, more smokers outside the bar than usual, and more kids in the bar than is appropriate. Kids? Yes. Late at night? Yes. When the bar went from restaurant to clerb? Yes. I think they were in town for the Exchange to Restore Sanity and/or Fear and had nowhere to put their kids when they wanted to get crunked. Saturday was the day of the rally. Fiance and I took the bus from his 'hood since we figured most people wouldn't think of the bus. We were correct and got a drive into town when most were yet in air at the tube station. I have never been anywhere more crowded than the National Center was on Saturday for the rally. It was definitely an experience as people will say with emphasis. It was fun. I liked the signs. It was exciting. Scarlet brought Double Stuffed Oreos that were delicious. The finish time I had those cookies was likely around 1989. They were delicious. The spotlight for me was not just Jon Stewart. Or Stephen Colbert. I felt most excited to see Ozzy Osbourne. Not because of his music so often as the reality show he and his home used to have. I recollect that is the first reality show I really got behind and now I am ruined for scripted TV forever. I wish to maintain it real. We had to pass the 4 miles home because metro was a full bust after the rally. After standing from 9am to 3pm with no relief (counting bus time, walking time, and then rally time) and so the 4 mile walk, I was pretty much ruined for any Halloween fun. Disappointing because Fiance and I had wonderful costumes. They will continue until next year. However, I did get my hair cut into a Velma from Scooby Doo length solely for Halloween. Oh well. It'll take to mould for regular life. Fiance ran the Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday. He is an amazing Libra man. I was impressed. I looked for him at the 10-mile mark but I never saw him. Next point for me was the 16-mile mark where I did catch sight of him. Then I had a primo spot after the 26-mile marker and I saw him again. I was extremely impressed only by his running the race.but afterwards the work at 26-miles is where I was really really impressed. The last 0.2 miles are up hill. He charged up the hill strong like bull. Most people were struggling. Not Fiance. He finished strong and I was really proud. So.that was my weekend. Here are some excerpts from my weekend a month ago when Fiance and I tailgated before a Virginia Tech game in Blacksburg, Virginia. Blacksburg turns out to be a cute, quaint, and picturesque town, btw. Oh, I recorded these on my call at the bar after a very loooong day that started with Bailey's in my coffee.

"I view the revival of 1980s Wayfarers had ended, but obviously not in Blacksburg [VA]."
"So, I'm in Blacksburg right now and I make a pair of details.Um.Mitch and I almost blew up my grill, it was a giant fireball, heburned the hair off his hand trying to put out the fire, he succeeded,we put it out, he turned off the gas, it went out.[trails off]"
"OK, it's Amy, um.it'safter the back on Saturday, um.the notes are that the grill started onfire.it was a giant fireball, Mitch reached his reach in to put itout.and burnt the hair off his arm.[trails off]"
"So.uh.this is Amy again.I had the best goddamn quesadilla ofmy life at Sharkey's in Blacksburg, Virginia. Why was it so goddamndelicious? Well, I don't know.you order me if bacon on a chickenquesadilla would be delicious."
"Mitch said to me.'You can sort of state when you hear to Billy Joel that he is a really loving man.' "
I remember my little phone recorder can only record like 10 seconds ata time because I think making much longer notes than this. I thinkthis is not meant to take notes.but to create ring tones or something.Maybe my new ringtone should discuss goddamn quesadillas. But thatwouldn't be very professional.
