Two of the funniest movies ever made hit Blu-ray next week in the John Belushi flicks &8220;The Blues Brothers&8221; and &8220;National Lampoon&8217;s Animal House.amp;8221;
Both are plentiful with particular features but they&8217;re of cloth that has been available before. The fact is that these two films have been released and re-released a 100 times and most people probably own them by now. If you don&8217;t, get to it.
/5.0What more could perhaps be said about these two comedy classics? Most lists of the funniest movies ever made includes one if not both and every time I get a new variant to review (which is pretty regularly over the decade I&8217;ve been covering home entertainment), I question if is the class where these two flicks will go to register their age. Nope. They&8217;re still f-in hilarious.
In fact, runescape gold salemy most recent viewing of &8220;National Lampoon&8217;s Animal House&8221; produced even more laughter than I remembered. How many movies can you say that some? When&8217;s the final time you saw a picture that you had seen a dozen times and it was even than you remembered? That just doesn&8217;t happen. But here it is with this timeless comedy, a movie that&8217;s funny every single time. I may want to revise my own personal top ten comedies.

The Blu-ray release looks right and not overly polished, but this isn&8217;t the sort of film for which video and sound are that big a deal. Much cooler is the U-Control function, which allows Scene Companion (interviews to work during key scenes) and The Music of Animal House to play pThe Blue Brothersicture-in-picture. I love U-Control and am honestly disappointed that more studios haven&8217;t followed Universal&8217;s head with this excellent functionality.

The peculiar features on &8220;Animal House&8221; are stellarwowgold , including a great reunion piece, an update on the shape and crew, cheapest world of warcraft goldand even a mini-game adaptation of &8220;Scene It?&8221; based on the movie. It&8217;s awesome.
And so is &8220;Blues Brothers,amp;8221; which includes the representation and extended versions of the film, the latter running a good fifteen minutes longer (and yet not feeling anywhere near its 148-minute running time). Once again, &8220;Blues&8221; has held up remarkably well. It&8217;s however as damn funny as the start sentence you saw it rsgold , and arguably even more so. Is it a command on comedies of today? Do we enjoy these movies more every year because there are so few good ones nowadays? Whatever the reason, pick &8216;em both up if you don&8217;t already have versions with which you are satisfied. You won&8217;t be disappointed.
