KARACHI:

While Shahid Afridi seeks a new start in the ongoing county season, the late captain will stay below the scanner of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which will not pause in taking further action against the retired all-rounder in event of foul play, according to a PCB official.

KARACHI:The Pakistan Cricket Board has removed Shahid Afridi as one-day team captain for the upcoming series against Ireland.

Chairman of the board Ijaz Butt told a media conference in Islamabad that senior batsman Misbah-ul-Haq would take the squad in the two one-day matches against Ireland on May 28 and 30.
