The Tops Series: Songs

My music lists are appearing sooner than Jon Fox's because I don't need to contend with him. Here is a very narrow list of what I believe the most powerful, meaningful, beautiful, and ear-pleasing songs were this past year:10. "Rococo"-Arcade Fire, The Suburbs: This song makes me wish to buy a tape player and the accompanying vinyl. It has that classic look that begs to be spun. Most of all, it`s catchy.9.

Quintessentially Quirky: Leave the silver city 'have all the .

For a 42 year old man in a suit, Matt Berninger really knows how to shake out. This was not the only unexpected thing about last Friday.Berninger is the principal vocalist of American superstar indie rock band the National. They come from Ohio, but I saw them on Friday night all the way ended in Scotland. The entire ten piece band couldn't do it across the pond, but we had eight members ready to have some large music and a great time.
